This product does what it says perfectly however it does require you to use the instruction guide regularly to check what temperature the meat should be

It is not 100 accurate on occasions and once or twice has been completely incorrect so should one be looking for a topoftherange meat thermometer which would be of supreme accurate every time i would not recommend this product

Care need not to place somewhere that can accidentally turn it on though as the batteries them go flat
