The build quality is only average

The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was the design with an opening on the top plate for the speaker wires which is useless as the wire would not allow the speaker to sit flush on the plate

Assembly was easy just do not overtighten screws as other reviewers have stated

The plastic spikes were impossible to get inserted into the bottom holes

All the pieces was in the box and it took less then ten minutes to assemble both stands the only problem was inserting the plastic carpet spikes and one spike on each stand could not fully insert into the holes and now both wobble a little
