I didnt test it for long maybe 5 minutes and thus did not experience over heating

I too experienced what another reviewer experienced in that while submerged in water the camera wants to zoom in and out uncontrollably which is pretty frustrating as it makes it almost impossible to get a clear image for a photo

Likewise on the rare occasion that the zoom stabilized and remained focused the camera button didnt want to respond and take the photo

I then tried the video feature but started the recording out of the water and submerged the camera while it was recording
