Pros
The set is indeed beautiful and gleaming, but it's beauty can be deceptive. They seem fine with washing in the dishwasher.
It's actually the first cleaver i've used as much as i have. Regardless of the task whether it's chopping or dicing veg's, milling a couple cloves of garlic or butchering a chicken.
The knives come in a beautiful black, zipper case. They come with sturdy, protective sheath. A quality case to securely hold them.
Cons
While the style is nice the rusting is not. I feel like the cheap mercer knives they gave us a culinary school were a lot better quality than these! However, i have to question durability because one just broke on an onion!
