The model m still works but this time i'm not otherwise disposing of my old system which means i need a new keyboard for the new one. It's not super overbearing, and some people really like the sounds it makes, so this one is more of a personal prefer... Read More

Top row of keys(f1 through f12) have multimedia shortcut keys. In combination with f12, it toggles the windows lock(out) function. I like that the keys are very sturdy with no wiggle.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and i can already find myself typing a little lighter and faster. The amount of click when typing is not so soft you might as well be using a tablet, not so loud the neighbors wonder if you're cutting down a tree.

The keyboard comes with a wrist rest, that can fold below the keyboard. The usb cable to the keyboard is at 90 degree angle facing the right side so if your computer sits on your left side the cable will have to be tied so that not too much stress is ... Read More

Side lighting always cycles through the rainbow even when the rest of the backlighting of the keys is set to be off.

Cons

Logitech keyboard crashes on both the usb2 and usb3 ports. The usb circuit board inside is garbage, and rosewill is well aware of it. Online research shows it's a soldering issue at the point of the usb input port.

Buyer beware. This get weaker and weaker and eventually breaks.

Edit this keyboard was 40 when i bought it but the price has now rose to a little over 60

I had a keymapping issue with this keyboard but rosewill customer service replaced it free of charge

Was able to customize the color and love the click

I moved from an blue switches outemu keyboard to this because grew apart from the clicky blue switch sound

Ive been using a ibm model m keyboard for about 3 decades until today

Glad i went with this rosewill keyboard versus more expensive mechanical keyboards

I am a typer and not really a gamer

1010 will prolly buy a second one as a spare
