Pros & Cons
Pros
The secret is to tighten the flathead screws at the joints if you have a lighter mic that wants to fly away. Comes with an thread adapter too.
This is by far the best boom arm i've owned. It's a very minor inconvenience though, and other various features met my expectations. It is simply everything i needed. Other than that, so far, it's great.
The arm is durable and i like the options rode provides for mounting to the desk. It's super sturdy and is able to move with ease.
This stand goes where i put it and stays, high or low, in or out or tilted. The clamp is also great! I keep pinching myself thinking i must be dreaming.
Cons
Nt-usb mic is a very light unit and is not the issue. Double twisting clamp to lock position broke before i owned the unit for a month.
Highlights
Quality
The quality they put into this is nothing short of amazing
The case when absolutely satisfied with the product thank you
The plug collides with the tension knob and can damage your microphone if you arent careful
For a light mic like the hyperx solo it pops up with the slightest touch or all by itself
Price
Well wotlrth the price and has yet to show any problems
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is amazing the boom arm itself is out of this world the quality of legitimately everything blew my mind
Prior to this i had the elgato wave mic arm lp and that eventually started creeping when the mic was on it
Competitiveness
Unlike some other cheaper alternatives on the market
It supports the shure sm7b well and stays exactly where you position it with no creeping down or anything
I use it with a hyperx quadcast and sometimes it is so sensitive that when i touch it it goes up by itself
