Pros & Cons
Pros
The can tap hooks directly to my a/c manifold gauge hoses. Best part, the refrigerant actually makes it into the system instead of freezing the can and venting off. Hinged adapter inserts makes choosing the right size a breeze.
Cons
Great for a few uses. Once you puncture a can and if it does not seal then you loose the whole can. Not good for a mechanic with lots of a.
Highlights
Quality
The tool was sturdy doesn’t leak and gets the job done
This blue plastic is durable i bought an extra recently in case they stop making them
It really clamped the freon can tightly and more importantly held the remainingunused gas in can vs
The adapters do not seal properly to the can and you lose half the refrigerant
Competitiveness
This was slightly more expensive that the imported alternatives but this in my opinion was far better than the others
Imo robinaire is top shelf for a name brand
