Great little gadget and much better than most others on market. No problems apart from coil flex is very tight. I just hope the glue lasts!
Plastic collar increases the size of the plug and keeps it in place in the fiat's socket. Fiat use the bigger european size socket.

I had searched to no avail various websites looking for a simple solution to the problem caused by car makers producing two slightly different size power sockets that were incompatible

Then i chanced on this product from ring which by dint of a simple collar on the plug solved the problem

However when i fitted the plastic ring inside the cigarette socket it was a bit loose and popped out when the sat nav was plugged in

I telephoned the manufacturer and they explained that there are different sizes of small cigarette lighter sockets and that those from japan or the usa are larger than those from europe

Ir is only a fraction of a difference so i used two part epoxy glue to carefully glue the plastic ring inside the socket and so far so good
