Pros
It's quicker too, and removes staples quickly, no muss no fuss. It''s also retractable. Instead of using your nails and ruining them.
Strong and well made, slips nicely under the staples and removes them with ease causing no damage to the paper underneath. Looks sleek too. Small depression for the thumb just behind the metal prong.
Rexel extract-it staple remover blue. Much easier and better to use than the usual style of staple remover.
Cons
Product claims to have a magnet inside to retain the staples, but mine has demagnetised as any staple i pull out pings merrily across the room. This is just not the usual quality and it feels flimsy. Broke after two or three uses.

I was sceptical about this prongstyle remover especially when i discovered that the slider has no function in the removal process

Instead of levering the staples up if you simply push the device under the staple and forward all the way staples do ping out leaving very little damage behind

For those that do wedge themselves in the crack the lever will expel them

Just not that useful when using on a 2 or 3 pages that are stapled together as you have to be careful not to tear paper
