The series is now all over my booktok feed, so i decided to give the book another chance. Def plan to complete this series.

Some readers seem to have been turned off by that, but i didn't feel it was excessive or overly cumbersome. This book is an intense, heart-pounding read that held me captive for weeks. It's nothing groundbreaking but the author kept me entertained.
