Noticeably less gear wear with redline gear oil. Don't notice any notchy shifts. Shifts are slick and feel just like it did with the oem fluid.

The first few cold shifts were consistently scratchy or difficult on 2nd and 3rd even with new fluid gradually worsening over time until the fluid was fully warmed up

Gl4 tends to be for manual transmissions and transaxles whereas gl5 tends to be specified for differentials and transfer cases
