I have never used the 10hz function only the 1hz function for navigation most programs can only handle an update of 1hz anyway

Unit can also be connected to a pc and used as a gps mouse

Using the software and drivers from the website allows the 10hz button to be reprogrammed to a lower freqency if desired

The data is far better than the internal gps

The gps has 2 settings 1hz and 10hz but you can reprogram it easily to do 5hz either 1hz5hz or 5hz10hz if you use a program that can only use a 5hz stream
