Pros
The inside is roomy and will fit a gun with enough area to quickly reach in and grab with little hassle. Has a lock to secure storage compartment.
Looks great on my mantle. Upclose the wood and finish are bumpy and messy. No scratches or damages upon delivery and arrived on time.
Cons
It looks like a kindergarten child painted it with crayola paint. There are places in the finish that are bubbled and or looks like an over spray. Poor paint job, dried sagging, puddles of it here and there.
There is no visible keyhole. The locking mechanism is cheap, thin, & odd. The * face falls out and won’t stay in place.
