Pros & Cons
Pros
They work as advertized and i am satisfied with both of mine. Being new, they provide adequate levels of pressure to ensure a tight seal around one's ears.
Muffs are larger and thicker than some of the newer models. The white pair pictured are the set i purchased for my active shooter wife. Good for indoor range, as advertised.
The worth or value of any product is relative to everyone uniquely. Just like a rolls will set you back a cool $300k+ compared to your dad's $50k cadillac, these are also 6x more expensive than the howard leight. Very expensive, but worth every penny.... Read More
Audio quality is better than others, no hissing and very clear. They are quite large and noticeably stick out the side of your head more than others.
Cons
If money is an issue for you, there are a lot of cheaper alternatives out there. Howard leight is a much better option.
Headband is $18 plus $5 s&h to a total of $23, which made the warranty claim moot after the first 3 months. This earmuff is big, clunky and uncomfortable. A 250 set of headphones is not very useful in the range bag. You will be over-exerted.
Highlights
Quality
I think their audio quality is better than others no hissing and very clear and are by far more comfortable
The build quality is good for these large ears muffs
Longevity seems to be the biggest issue with the pro mags so if i remember down the line ill update this review
However theyll gladly sell me a replacement band with the same defective design material
Price
However the cost of two independent electronic systems forces the cost to be prohibitively high for some consumers
Shipping
Pro ears came packaged in a clear plastic display box inside the shipping carton
For such an expensive and sensitive electronic device i was expecting shipping in a more shock proof package
Competitiveness
I am a range officer and competition shooter for over 30 years and have always used passive muffs
Muffs are larger and thicker than some of the newer models
Best of all they are made in the usa

Only negatives the strap connecting the two ear muffs could be of better quality i can see this wearing out and easily breaking if proper care is not maintained even when packing the range bag

I would not just toss these around

It can be a bit of a pain depending on the type of eyes your wear if they dont sit tight to the head meaning they tend to bow out you will have a harder time removing and replacing your eyes without first taking off your ears

Its funny because if you looked at just the ratings one would think the howard leight ear protection is better when you cant even hold a candle to this
