Using it for the first time i found out the tires on my new car were overinflated by 1012 psiapparently that is how they are shipped to avoid something called flat spotting and the dealer is supposed to correct it

The flexible hose and rotating head make it easy to eastablish good direct contact with the valve stem and obtain an accurate reading which is then displayed on the large dial face and held until released with the button
