Pros

Original reveiw glasses seem to be well made. There also is a cloth drawstring pouch to put them in. Comes with 4 nice looking cardboard glasses to share.

Picked them up for the annular 2023 eclipse and worked perfectly. Looking forward to the solar eclipse in 2024. I am confident to let my grandsons use them during the 08-apr-2024 total solar eclipse in the u.

Safe to view full sun. Not just for eclipses, but sunspots as well. Comes with a safety strap which will come in handy when i am not using them to look at the sun. Provides a warm but not fake-seeming light orange hue.

Cons

These were described as glasses and pictured as such. The wraparound concept is good, but the glasses are made from plastic that is fixed and unadjustable. I have very simple rimless frames and these glasses do not fit over them.

These are a very cheap flimsy plastic. This makes observing sun spots difficult. Very disappointing service.

They arrived not broken because they were shipped in a box

Arrived in a plastic bag which allowed pressure to bend the frame

Purchased the plastic framed eclipse glasses which came with 2 paper frame eclipse glasses

Competitiveness

I preferred the goggle version from the same maker because they fit my head better and reduced the chances of seeing the sun unfiltered

Even the cheaper cardboard ones fit better
