If i take 3 links out it sits loose on my wrist too loose for the heart rate sensor to pick up a reading

You will likely need a jewellers link removal tool if you want to reduce the bracelet size as i did

The only downside experienced is that out of the box some links at the watchface end were very loose to the point that the strap came undone and fell off a few times
