Pros

Blake crouch is such an amazing writer. Very suspenseful and surprising plot. Ethan, former black hawk pilot and secret service agent is a badass fighter. It's like the movie, population 436 mixed with the divergent series.

Best read on a warm sunny beach. Get the book, you won't be disappointed. If you're interested in some unusual, weird happenings then this book is for you.

Cons

The setup for this book is cool, but it isn't enough to save this series from the writing. This has to be the most disjointed book i have wasted time reading. Stopped reading after approx 50 pages.

The main character, pam, is just a *. The antagonists are awful, and their motivations are so single-minded and narrow as to be boring. And the finale---spoiler people in suspended animation for thousands of years.
