One very important thing to note is that this speaker is quite quiet even at its highest volume setting

This means that it does not work very well with musicaudio that is intentionally quiet for sleep however i had no issues when listening to audio that would be considered normal volume while awake and the inline volume adjuster can be used to tune the sound to your preferred volume without having to touch your player device
