Pros & Cons

Pros

It fits over my corsair low profile ram no problem. It utilizes the stock motherboard backplate that comes with all amd motherboards. It is heavy, but it has a support piece that you attach to the back of your motherboard.

As for the intel stuff, (? I now run a modified bios with unrestricted tdp at 190mhz base clock and the cpu is always at 22-23x multiplier, at 1. Sdram. Skill ripjaw 2400mhz memory. It is silent and cool. The ares and ares of the system are very user ...  Read More

The fan positions are adjustable to raise or lower them as needed. The cooler is so close to my rear exhaust (something like a 1cm gap) that the 2nd fan's output can spin up my rear exhaust fan.

This thing is massive. Only draw back is its extremely heavy people. That's really the only bad thing about this monster sized cooler as far as i can tell.

Cons

Good buyers of products only read the low reviews. Not only is it smaller than the phanteks, but it is also much lighter in weight. Fans are not standard 140mm; they are based on a 120mm square frame with a 140mm blade protruding out the sides.

Packaging/appearance

Having that open space in the middle makes it a lot easier to press down on and screw in the screwscoils

Item was used original packaging did not come with the unit all associated parts were included

Since the gpu is next to the phanteks cooler it probably helps from the 140mm fans

Competitiveness

I had to replace the middle screw with a hhd screw and it worked perfectly

Works about as well as a noctua for less money and no ugly brown fans

If you dont have a girthy case dont buy this

Definitely worth upgrading to from a crappier cooler just make sure you have enough case depth to fit this beast

Even under the most tortuous load like the small fft test in prime 95 and using a very gentle quiet fan curve that only hits 100 when the cpu core reaches 85c the cpu never even hits 80c—usually in the 7275c range
