I used to use a heavy glazed ceramic dish then a stainless steel cat dish with raised sides and rubber along the bottom of the flared out bottom
They did a great job of staying in place and were easy to clean however my cat kept taking the food out of the dishes to eat it off the floor
I have not had any problems with my cat pawing food out and this dish stays put plus its easy to clean
Also this bowl had cut down on the mess from my less than clean cat food isnt on the floor and the dish doesnt end up under the fridge
