Pros

The dot grid is a good size and is just dark enough to work with. I would like to see the dots a bit lighter, and the elastic a bit firmer, or thicker; otherwise i adore these journals!

The cover material on the gray leather one is great. It's smooth, a little cushiony if you will. The cover defers soft and luxurious. It is pliable, making it easy to bend and manipulate.

Cons

This journal is rubbishy. It will not lay flat during use, it pills as soon as you touch it with watercolor, or even a brush pen! It has a course texture that causes expensive brush pens to fray immediately. Does not hold up to watercolors or water or... Read More

Quality wasnt as good as i thought it would be but you cant complain for the price

The binding and quality is beautiful and it would have been perfect for traveling

With the plastic protector while im drawing this isnt a big deal for me

Some of the pages tore out of the binding though right after i got it
