The only problem is the altimeterthe device measures or senses air pressure that pressure of course varies according to the weather

Unfortunately when you are at fairly low elevation say a few hundred metres above mean sea levelthe reading for elevation varies too much

It would be ok if you are in mountain country of thousands of metres where an error of 50 metres is negligible but at 150 metres its unacceptable

It has a digital clock which can be twelve or twenty four hour reading and it displays hour minutes and seconds and last but not least it has a timed backlights so it does not drain the battery
