Its not even facing south and i walk by it several times after dark

Works great when facing south has a very good motion sensor dim mode to bright modeworks seamlessly however when placed facing a different direction this light will not maintain the dim mode throughout the night

The feature its missing is to be able to put the light into sensor mode only

The lamp would remain off thus conserving energy go into bright mode when activated by motion and then turn off to wait for its next cycle

There is a key that it comes with where you can turn off the device in the event you dont want it on and off due to having a party or you are using another form of light

This is well designed and am improvement on a previous version where the solar panel was on the rear of the unit
