Pros

Handwashing isn't a horrible inconvenience. We still use it, but because the finish was ruined in the dishwasher, the ice cream doesn't slide off as easily. It's worth the price.

Was great when carving up the ice cream. Love this. It is awesome. Honestly, it works amazing.

Cons

Not dishwasher safe. Washing it by hand still caused it to discolor and then to use it again presents you with metal rub off on the ice cream.

The finish comes off pretty easily. Then it starts to corrode in the drawer between uses. After 3 uses the scoop is terribly discolored. The company seems to have changed the coating that’s on the *.

The cushioned handle is comfortable, but who wants to dip ice cream with a chipping scoop that is hard to use. The handle also seems to have gone brittle quickly.
