I have encountered one issue with the existing timer connecting to my boiler which is that the hot water has to be on 247 in order to enable the owl to switch the heating on and off

The android app is very good which is rare because the majority of devices like this that offer a mobile app are not so good

Can set each of the 7 days differently if you need or do all the same copied or weekends differently

The only gripe is that holiday times can only be booked a session at a time but then again the on and off away mode can easily be used over the phone interface

The house has felt warmer since we got it i think because the big fluctuations in temperature the old thermostat was so unreliable have been smoothed out to only fluctuations of 0

We have only had it about 6 weeks so trying to judge economy of gas usage is not really possible at this time

You can fit a unit to your water heater to add to the setup if needed and also there are units for electric usage monitoring which add to the whole setup if you want not done this yet
