Pros & Cons
Pros
The ripcord is comfortable and the stitching/construction seems good. The shoulder straps are sufficiently padded for day use and comfortable for hikes up to 10 hours.
The only downside to this pack is the bladder pouch could have been a bit more accessible. The connection point between the drinking hose and the bladder is actually a threaded screw in connection - and all i had to do was tighten that up and no leaki... Read More
This hydration pack is awesome. Not the end of the world, but just a minor gripe. My first impressions of the ripcord are very positive.
I feel this product provides excellent value for the occasional biker or hiker. Used it for mtn and road biking primarily, but i imagine when i go hiking, it will be a welcome addition.
The backpack has lots of pockets and zips and snaps efficiently without being overweight or bulky. The whole backpack is a very bright white, and the silver is made of a reflective material. Backpack comes with a lifetime no hassle guarantee as well.
Cons
After less than 10 uses, the hose and camel back are both leaking. The water tastes absolutely rancid!
Highlights
Quality
The build quality is great i would even compare it to the top brands like camelback but cheaper

Packaging/appearance
The feature that i really like is the zippered pocket at the top of the pack
Only drawback is the cleaning of the the water pouch
The packaging says there is a tube port on the left and right strap but on the one i received there was only one on the left strap
Competitiveness
Wore this during a spartan beast in vermont for the world championships in 2012
Much less expensive than the other brand
Chest and waist straps are a little short for a 250lb
