This amplifier works great, and the return policy is exemplary. Make sure the amp is wired via cat5 cable to the router. The flexibility of the configuration of the amplifier is superb.

Each channel is individually selectable. Each of the 6 stereo channels can be bridged. Also, they can be moved from one channel to the other for troubleshooting.

The osd control app is fairly responsive and reliable. The default user/password is admin/admin. The only complaint i have is that the auto-on feature requires a significantly high input level to fire.

Cons

The instructions are trash. Shame on you osd. Had to return the amplifier.

Amp from best buy a week ago spent 1200 and the freaking thing was dead out of the box

Also make sure the tiny switch next to the cat5 connector is set to 34ethernet34

Competitiveness

Its perfect whats not to like multiroom sources

I use google chromecast audio devices as audio inputs to allow apps such as spotify to cast music selectively across the 8 zones

I researched multiroom amplifiers and seriously looked at the niles si1230
