Pros & Cons
Pros
The reporter backpack connectors are great; there's not a more comfortable way to hold even a heavy camera. It makes carrying the camera very comfortable. That is a little cumbersome for the bottom strap and camera, but it works well enough that a dou... Read More
The clips are awesome for setting my camera up on a tripod, or connecting them together and making a small carry strap. It was used with a dslr with a medium zoom lens over all that time. I own two of these and they work phenomenally!
I'm confident that it will hold up, and that it won't leave my gear on the pavement.
Cons
This one is rubbish. Thanks for sending my $3,000 rig straight into the concrete. In 2018 other competitors have smaller and more attractive options without sacrificing security.
The discomfort is normally tolerable for short stints of walkabout. The back neck cushion is cheap foam material and is wide and ugly.
Rubber underside is rather slick, and the protruding knobs/bumps designed for further grip, are even more so. The strap loops to tether to camera are too thick and had to struggle to get them into sony nex 5n camera5.
