The material is machined well and seems very sturdy. It is sturdy. Very firm grip on keyboard too.

There is an adjustment knob that secures the ends in place. The bars are slightly uneven but it's only aesthetic and doesn't affect the functionality. Easily adjustable for different widths and circumferences.

Cons

Looks to be a sloppy welding job. The post that attaches to the keyboard holder is not towards the rear as it is shown in the pictures. Immediately halted any chance of trust with on stage.

I got this 2nd tier to go on a noname double x stand i was given as a gift

So in all i have two tier extensions on top of a double x stand holding a 50lb 88 roland 15lb nord and a 10lb synth on the top

The much more expensive ksa8500 seems to be required for my application adding a third tier to the ks7365ej pro heavyduty foldingz
