I put 300 yards of 30lb braid on it and i still have just over 14 inch to go before i reach the rim

I originally had it on a 10ft surf rod and was easily casting 3oz lures well over 150 yards

I’ve only dry casted in the field with it so far using a 5oz lead and a 12ft beefstick
