Only drawback is that it doesnt have the switch like the original product so when cleaning it you have to completely unplugg it from the wall

The pump that came with the fountain developed a short in the wire probably because i have to plug it in and unplug it twice a week when i clean out the waterer

Maybe if you have a fish aquarium you know what the plugs are for but i had to figure out on my own how to change the plugs to put in the one that worked with my fountain

Also it was incredibly noisy when i first plugged it in it quieted down when i turned the volume control knob down also not mentioned in the instructions but its still noisier than the original
