    By the way frozen broccoli because it has been blanched prior to freezing lacks the enzyme myrosinase which converts the sulforaphane precursor glucoraphanin into sulforaphane so if you think you are getting a lot of cancerprotective phytochemicals from eating frozen broccoliyou are not unfortunately
