Drink part before workout and part during. No noted side effects, no issues with product consistency over many months. Even if you are just looking for a healthier version of a normal powdered drink mix, this is ideal.
Cons
This powder is marketed as for the advanced user. It never really mixes in no matter how long you shake it (yes, i have a shaker bottle with the wire whisk ball) the flavor is bitter and horrible.

I know some people have commented on the stevia read bitter taste but thats kind of the name of the game if you want to forgo nasty artificial sweeteners and its by no means overwhelming or even offputting

Leucine is also hydrophobic which is why there will be clumps
