I read reviews about this product being top-notch, and bought it. It looks so much nicer then wooden gates we've had in the past. I really like how the company had a chart to tell you which extensions you needed.

Cons
The gate itself is very flimsy and not sturdy at all. Not as advertised. Should have done that in the first place and saved myself the hassle.

When we got the box and reading the directions it clearly states not to extend over 63

After some piece work and stabilizing from my husband we were able to make the gate work for what we needed but it is not as stable as we hoped for

I have an open kitchen and the opening is much wider than a door

The problem is that it did not auto close and the animals would test it to see if i had lifted and closed it

And they actually told me to look on amazon because it would be cheaper than if they shipped it to me

We had to add some rubber cups at the end to make it work for the space we wanted so it is not sturdy

Now the baby wont kill himself falling down the stairs which is a good thing

Unfortunately the 4 year old cant open the gate either which causes frustration
