Pros

Inside, it’s all point-to-point wiring and there are no surface-mount components. Simple screws and nuts hold things together. An alternative rectifier tube is on the way too.

This item has a natural sound that other (solid state) amps can't match. At only 8w, it’s enough volume for my 10’x15’ office. These are highly efficient speakers rated at a sensitivity of 95db.

This amplifier is serviceable. It's an attractive unit.

Cons

Sometimes there are sleepers out there that blow the neche and/or high-end companies away. The only upside is amazon work with you.

The component quality is not the greatest and the assembly while adequate may not always be acceptable

But be aware it’s a product that’s assembled with low quality control

Depending on the quality of the recording you can even hear the attack as the bow engages the strings and sets them vibrating

Price

I like the sound and the price

I did not expect very much for that price

Shipping

Since tubes are shipped in a separate box inside the main shipping container i guess the packer grabbed the wrong tube
