Never havr a problem seeing in front of me

Update on winter 3 i had the miniusb mount tear off of the lights printed circuit board when i plugged it in at work leaving the light uncharged and unable to charge

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Lucky for me i could use the solder station in the lab at work to take it apart and solder jumper lines from the miniusb port to the solder joints that link the led pcb to the main pcb the outer miniusb pins go to the outer two solder links

I then glued the miniusb port back in place to the pcb for position not for electrical connection and could charge it for the ride home

My understanding is that newer models now have beefier charger port mounts to avoid this type of failure

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I will probably get one of the newer models as a second light but was disappointed at the lack of robustness in the charger port in contrast to the rest of the design lowering the rating by a star

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

In the meantime i insert the charger cable only as much as necessary to charge which is not fully inserted and secure

As an aside many question why the light cannot both charge and be on at the same time
