Also im not sure why no one has mentioned this but it is very difficult though not impossible to plug the charger into the scooters newly designated charge port on the battery while the scooter is in its foldedcompact state

This strikes me as a glaring design flaw as the scooter now needs to be upright and extended in order to be able to plug the charger cord into the port without having to use a weird potentially damaging angle to get around it being almost completely blocked off by the rear wheel brake and clasping hook when folded

Another thing is the cool pulsing red light on the battery can only be seen when the builtin headlights are on

If you have an es2 youve no doubt encountered the very common problem regarding the faulty component in the control board that wears down over time and causes the brakes to continually engage when you turn the headlights on

If youre like me you probably bypassed trying to solderfix the thing and possibly ruining the scooter further in the process by just getting an external headlight to use instead

But this means youll be missing out on the neat breathing light effect on the battery that compliments the underside lights on the scooter

If you bought the es2 and are enjoying it you owe it to yourself to get this battery and upgrade it to an es4
