That is another reason this is so great as you do for each glass not for the entire bottle so you have freshly aerated wine with each glass

Theres a filter at the top to catch any cork fragments or sediment but the real magic takes place in the bottom of the aerator itself where the inverted funnel at the bottom forces the wine to spin around like a mini whirlpool

When you get there the air inside seems stale and stuffy because the windows have been shuttered tight and no one has been in and out the door for months
