The little white membrane peels off the yellow attachment just like the original but the only thing different is the shield doesnt separate from the screw on valve component

Its more convenient this way honestly but my concern is how the cdc says to make sure you take the pump parts apart before washing every time and this is now impossible

I ordered these for back up to my breast pump and didnt realize the shields were one piece with the valves

The holes in the white part are at the top which is different than the traditional pump parts

It makes sense that some people had mold build up in their tube based on the design of the pump part
