    We had the bar on the trampoline for about a month before it became apparent it was more of a danger to a daredevil 5 year old than a safety feature

    By then i had figured out how to jump on it as well and was comfortable not using it if your sense of balance is good and you are otherwise in decent shape with no health conditions that would require the bar i would probably just skip it and save 85

    It appears using the springs the way we do they should last between 35 years and the cost to replace them currently is only about 3
