We now use ro water water cooler bottled and by removing the minerals the life expectancy should be excellent for the unit

Coffee iced tea maker in the 80s or maybe early 90s but anyhow i bought it mostly for nostalgia along with sometimes wanting to make ice tea quickly in the winter when its too cold out to use the sun

As i’m storing tea in fridge i don’t add ice to the jug just water and some sugar for sweet tea

It still worked but the pitcher finally cracked after all those many brews

Works great however after the first use noticed the jug has a large scratch on the bottom

Have tried to call mr coffee to see about purchasing another jug but the hold time always seems to be in excess of 20 minutes
