Its not needed as the velcro is very strong the shorts have never become loose in grappling and the string gets stuck fast to it

Really really good customer service too probably the best ive had on amazon they refunded me for the second pair of shorts while the warehouse is still in lockdown due to covid

Stretchy stay good after washing

Loved the feel and design but unfortunately got a size too big returned them and got a refund promptly
