Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Mks touring pedals spin freely with no play and just a touch of roughness. It's nice to have pedals with actual bearings that actually rotate and spin. They came lubricated but need a few miles to break them in.

The traction from the bumps makes it really easy to flip the pedals and get your foot in the clip. This is the only pedal in the world as far as i'm concerned.

Cons

Spun these right out of box and felt the gritty feeing and slow spin rate. New after riding on them half a dozen times, the right pedal began to click indicating a blown bearing. This flaw has been raised by many other reviewers.

Quality

They go well with the campy cranks

Installed these on my vintage schwinn with the addition of 34knee saver34 adapters91634 1234 they work quite well with my 11ee work shoes

The red grease was provided by me and did not ship with the product

Until then ill put up with the extra

Packaging/appearance

As other reviewers have noted you can adjust the play but for me they work straight out of the box

Also the traction from the bumps makes it really easy to flip the pedals and get your foot in the clip

The second set arrived and while the first came in factory packaging these did not

As other reviewers have noted these pedals feel a little gritty out of the package

Competitiveness

I have an old mountain bike with old bear claw pedals and several road bikes with bebop clipless pedals

Didnt want to buy another pair of expensive clipless shoes so i went this route and am very happy

There was plenty of clearish grease so i left it alone

Entry becomes more difficult than any clip or clipless pedal ive ever used
