One of the pieces of glass broke perhaps from the heat of the halogens after 10 weeks of use

Seems like an easy fix but as others have commented on the same issue it doesnt appear the fan has been redesigned yet

The only disappointment w this fan and all fans today is that the lights are not near as bright as the older fans

The controller that comes with the fan is wall mounted so purchase the separate remote control about 35 if you want one that can sit on the end table

Updateunless the manufacturer revised their design i would not recommend this fan
