With a kingston mobilelite wireless g2 and the app iphone here but android has one too i am able to transfer gopro footage to this unit

This may change when i plug it into the computer to offload my videos or use it as a video server drive for editing

I cannot write to the device from the mac os since it came formatted in ntfs and my mac only reads that file system

I got a disk is write protected warning on both sides of the mac oss
