It has a solid heft to it. Obital action with no vibration. The orbital action is awesome!

Milwaukee stands head and shoulders above the competition in the reciprocating saw market. The saw never bogs down. It's strong enough to move anything that is loosely held.

Wear boots and safety goggles, this thing takes no prisoners. The adjustable shoe is real handy, another feature new to me after the makita. As another reviewer already mentioned, there are more positions on the adjustable shoe.

Mine came in a heavy-duty red plastic case, not the metal case that all other reviews i found mentioned.

If you are trying to cut in a new door in an existing wall without having to patch the plaster or paint on either side, you need a sawzall.

Orbital action will help clear the blade teeth when doing wood cuts but dont use it on metal cuts you already should be using oil and small teeth to prevent clogging

There is also a 34rotational handle34 version out there that started with the 12 amp models 2006 i believe but the reversible blade mount on the 11 amp is even excessive imo
