The battery is about 1-2mm thicker than the compartment in my ups unit. Generator provides eventual backup on power fails.

Cons
The last two batteries sent are 9 amp hr. May have been my fault, not criticizing anyone. Amazon, on the other hand, needs to not post the advertised model as fitting this model apc ups.

Here is an 8ah battery ive used before that is smaller and fits no problem without modifying the apc battery box

I had to trim some plastic ribbing from the backup unit housing to make this battery fit correctly

I had some reservations about purchasing this battery initially since the listed dimensions didnt exactly match the original one in my apc uninterruptable power supply an older model be750bb

It took me 15 minutes to coax the old one out because the fit was tight plus the battery case had swollen
