The fabric like wrapping on the cords seems like it will prevent fraying at the base if charging port which is a major issue i have with chargers

If there are problems eversame supposedly has a lifetime warranty though some reviewers have mentioned they dont honor it

The cable itself was in good shape i thought i had busted my phone until i tried a cable that hadnt seen a 500 day tour of duty

I would suggest either not using the phone constantly while charging or holding it so you arent kinking the cable
