Pros
It automatically torques itself to the right tightness. The tightening nut shears off at the right level of torque, preventing over-tightening.
Cons
Both whole toilet seats show signs of breaks in the lamination. The seat cracked where the rubber grommets and brackets are quite tall so the gap between the bowl and the seat is large.
It's in a bathroom that's used exclusively by someone who is only at home a little over half the time. Very concerning is a blue tint on white seat where most used. Our a$$es aren’t that heavy to break a toilet seat!

And the plastic lid always felt like it was going to collapse

I saved the little dohickey they sent to install the seat and when i used it to remove the casing the head of the plastic casing snapped right off
